Although I suppose some people like models and athletes might feel otherwise. I haven’t watched the rest of the video yet, but I’m assuming the issue of the soul and the question where our consciousness is located, created, derived etc., will get brought up at some point. That’s a hypothetical question, but if someone did succeed in this experiment, it might provide some insight into those questions. Still, it’s generally accepted that the brain is the location of our thoughts snd therefor the most tangible source of our identity. Sorry to nitpick, but I suspect the statement made at this point would’ve been changed had it been given more, well, thought. Oh, unless you’re thinking of putting someone’s brain into a different body…? Both of these sound insane.

Evolution is a theory. I personally believe in adaptation instead of random accidental mutations. The math just doesn’t add up for the random mutations path.

The scariest thing about this is that if this is successful, we have essentially solved the issue of immortality. An old person can just get to old age and do a body transplant on a young, beautiful body, and do that every 80 years or so.. man-made horrors beyond my comprehension
